Bluestone Coping

Natural Stone is a classic choice for pool coping and with its’ unique characteristics it provides the finishing touch to make the edge interesting. Stone’s versatility can be used in numerous design applications and styles creating a distinct element in a pool’s architecture. An excellent example of the versatility of a stone is Bluestone which is available in various colors, textures, sizes and edge details and of course can always be ordered to specifically meet architectural drawings.

• Bluestone’s two color categories are ‘Blue Select’ which has a narrow range of hues from Steel Grey to Dark Utramarine Blue and ‘Full Range’ Bluestone which comes in diverse shades of burgundies, blues, tans, greens and greys.
• Bluestone’s standard texture is a smooth ‘Flamed’ surface, but as a ‘Special Order’ it could be milled with a ‘Natural Cleft’ which would give the Bluestone the appearance of a naturally split stone.
• The sizes vary extensively in Bluestone’s coping material with lengths ranging from 36 – 72 inch and widths from 12 – 24 inch.
• Bluestone’s edges have options as well with the ‘Cut’ edge creating a very clean, sleek look, the ‘Bullnose’ forging a rounded lip and the ‘Rock Face’ providing a rustic, chiseled character.
